BANDWIDTH

Broadband Enterprise is a Leader in Broadband Data Bandwidth Delivery.  Working wholesale with Tier 1 Carriers, Broadband Enterprise can secure the best available Bandwidth per dollar, purely based on the wholesale existing business done with Telcos.   Currently Broadband Enterprise wholesales for ACC Business, AT&T, Level 3, Qwest, XO, Paetec, Megapath, Cogent, Speakeasy, CenturyTel, Covad, AboveNet, Frontier, Time Warner Telecom and other smaller regional providers.

Today with richness of Telco Promos and some local overbuilding, bandwidth prices are the best they’ve ever been.  They may not deplete further and Promos will be the only way going forward.

Some sample bandwidth pricing below:

60 Major Metro Areas – DIA Circuits (Internet circuits)
10/10 Meg            starting from $ 595
15/15 Meg            starting from $ 775
20/20 Meg            starting from $ 909

OnNet now we can get 100 Meg Point to Point for about $ 1000 in several states

In most remote parts of AL, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN, CA, CT, IL, IN, KS, MI, MO, NV, OH, OK, AR, TX AND WI on Promo are:

10 Meg    $ 984
20 Meg    $ 1,160
50 Meg    $ 1,685
100 Meg  $ 2,516

We also specialize in custom solutions for low cost bandwidth delivery, sometimes using Licensed Spectrum and working with Broadband Enterprise’s vast Partner resources to tie tower hops to deliver Secure Bandwidth.  This form of delivery is used by Mobile Cellular Providers.

Steps an ISP would take and questions asked to match Bandwidth to Customer Type:

1.  Are your subscribers demanding – meaning if they lose service for a few hours, they switch.  Then you need a 99.999% Uptime Guarantee Circuit even if it costs a little more.

2. Do you have a Performance Contract with say your Developer or Customer Base:   Then you’d look for Telco Redundancy and Mean time to Repair.  Several Operators do not have Redundant Networks and failures may take a long time to recover – request Redundancy statement.

3. You have Quality of Service Levels to Maintain:  Then you will look for Service Level Agreements and Latency guarantees.  Some lower cost Telcos oversubscribe their Ports – and may not be able to offer high Latency guarantees.

4. You are ok with a slightly lower service level, but need to make Cost work.   Then you’d look for lower tier Telcos, especially if you’re operating in Major Metro Areas.

5. You have no backup – just one circuit.  Then you’d look for a 99.999% uptime Telco guarantee.

6. Telco Service is Critical:  Then you’d stay with Tier 1 Telco Provider, and use DSL or Low Cost Ethernet over Copper as backup.
